They say a picture is worth a thousand words well in landscaping it could worth more in the time it can save you. If you are new to landscaping or this is your first home you may have no idea where to start well that’s where a landscaping pictures can come in handy.

If you are working with a professional landscaper they will take your ideas and form a visual plan of what your yard will look like once it is finished. If you choose to do the whole project yourself, look through landscaping magazines or books and get a feel for what you may like. One thing I want to mention about leafing through pictures is you need to make sure the plant or tree is hardy in your zone if not a nursery can usually recommend a replacement plant similar to the one you want.

You may also enjoy taking a ride through some nice neighborhoods and snapping some pictures of homes with attractive lawns and landscaping you like.

There is so much more to landscaping than planting a tree but remember you can work on your yard a bit at a time as you can afford, just make a plan and grow with it.
